Rosburg Police jailed a man for an alleged harassment incident early Sunday.

An RPD report said at 1:00 a.m. the 31-year old was allegedly involved in a disturbance at a store in the 1000 block of Northwest Highland Street, where the suspect shoved and punched an employee. The suspect was confronted by officers, who knew he had a warrant.

The report said the man disobeyed commands and ran from officers, going south on Highland. Officers deployed a taser when the man attempted to run away, which allowed them to detain the suspect without further incident.

He was charged with harassment and for the warrant. Bail was set at $60,000.
