K9 CRACK BIG WINNER AT PITCH NIGHT

In the KQEN Business Spotlight:

K9 Crack was the big winner at Pitch Night held by the Umpqua Economic Development Partnership on Wednesday night.

The event was held at Backside Brewing Company and is designed to help local entrepreneurs take their small business to the next level. Several businesses made “pitches” to a group of three judges.

K9 Crack, owned by Georgie Pulman-Olaski, received both the $10,000 first place award and a $2,500 award for being the audience favorite. Delbert Gibson’s JR’s Against the Grain BBQ Sauce got second place, receiving $5,000. The third-place award of $2,500 went to Keri Roid and Growing Miracles Lavender Garden.

Money given out came from the Southern Oregon Workforce Investment Board.
