The driver was hospitalized following a single vehicle crash on Highway 38 near Scottsburg on Tuesday.

A report from the Oregon State Police said at 2:45 p.m. a westbound SUV left their lane of travel and exited the right shoulder of the roadway before striking a culvert and coming to rest in the left lane of travel. The adult female sustained serious non-life- threatening injuries. She was transported to PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at Riverbend in Springfield.

The vehicle was towed from the scene. An investigation into the cause of the crash continues.
