A vehicle versus deer crash took place on Thursday.

An Oregon State Police report said at 10:20 a.m. a woman was driving southbound on Interstate 5, about a mile south of Winchester. An investigation determined that a deer jumped over the center barrier of the freeway and struck the front end of an SUV, causing the vehicle’s airbags to deploy. Both occupants of vehicle complained of minor injuries.
