Roseburg Police jailed a man for alleged criminal mischief on Wednesday.

An RPD report said just after 3:20 p.m. officers responded to a caller who said a man was damaging the sidewalk near two businesses in the Garden Valley Shopping Center, in the 700 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard. Officers contacted Nickolas Kaisershot, who was wearing metal-studded baseball cleats, purposely scraping the sidewalks in the area.

The report said the suspect caused large grooves in the cement with the cleats. Kaisershot was charged with first degree criminal mischief- a felony, and for a parole violation. He was detained without bail.
