A Frost Advisory is in effect between 2:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. Friday for central Douglas County.

An Urgent Weather Message from the National Weather Service said temperatures as low as twenty-eight degrees will result in frost formation. The Advisory area includes higher elevations away from the valley floors in the county, including Drain, Curtin and Glendale.

Forecasters said frost could kill sensitive outdoor vegetation if it is left uncovered.
