Roseburg Police jailed two men who were allegedly fighting in the downtown area on Friday.

An RPD report just after 4:30 p.m. the suspects were seen in an altercation in the street near the corner of Southeast Washington and Southeast Rose Street. Several people, including children, witnessed the incident. Due to their respective levels of intoxication, it was difficult to determine who was at fault.

Both men were taken to jail. Both the 42-year old from Myrtle Creek and the 40-year old from Roseburg were charged with second-degree disorderly conduct. The second man was also charged with possession of a concealed weapon.  Both were held on $2,500 bail.
