Traffic signal maintenance by the Roseburg Public Works Department may bring brief delays.
A City release said electrical crews with the Oregon Department of Transportation will replace eight traffic signal cabinets between 6:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. over the course of four evenings. Flaggers will control traffic through intersections while traffic signals are turned off during the scheduled maintenance work.
Traffic signals will be off at these locations:
*Tuesday May 17th: West Harvard Avenue at Stewart Park Drive and Northeast Stephens Street at Newton Creek Road
*Wednesday May 18th: West Harvard Avenue at Umpqua Street and Garden Valley Boulevard at Kline Street
*Tuesday May 24th: West Harvard Avenue at Keady Court and Garden Valley Boulevard at Goetz Street
*Wednesday May 25th: West Harvard Avenue at Stewart Parkway and Garden Valley Boulevard at Airport Road
Motorists are asked to use caution when traveling through the work zones.
