MAN JAILED FOR ALLEGED POSSESSION OF A STOLEN VEHICLE

Myrtle Creek Police jailed a man for alleged possession of a stolen vehicle on Thursday.

Police Chief Jonathan Brewster said at about 10:50 a.m. an officer contacted the 31-year old in the 700 block of South Main Street. Brewster said the vehicle had been stolen in April from the Roseburg area.

The suspect was charged with possession of a stolen vehicle and for a parole violation. He was detained without bail.
