COVID-19 CLAIMS TWO MORE LIVES, STATE’S DEATH TOLL AT 7,548, AS OF WEDNESDAY

COVID-19 has claimed two more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 7,548, as of Wednesday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 1,452 new cases of COVID-19, raising the state total to 735,464. The new cases include:

*375 in Multnomah County

*285 in Washington County

*181 in Clackamas County

*127 in Deschutes County

Locally OHA reported 27 new cases in Douglas County

OHA said that statewide 201 people are hospitalized for COVID-19 with 24 in intensive care unit beds.
