MAN JAILED FOLLOWING DISTURBANCE AT CHURCH

A Roseburg man was jailed following a disturbance at a church on Friday.

A Roseburg Police report said at 9:25 a.m. an investigation revealed that 40-year old John Baker allegedly broke a window, refused to leave the property and then fought with arresting officers at the Christian Life Center in the 700 block of North East Alameda Avenue.

Baker was charged with second degree counts of criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and criminal trespass, resisting arrest and attempting to assault a public safety officer. Bail was set at $22,500.
