WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY THROUGH 11:00 A.M. SUNDAY ABOVE 2,000 FEET

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect through 11:00 a.m. Sunday above 2,000 feet in much of southern Oregon.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said one to three inches of snow is expected with three to seven inches above 3,500 feet.

The Advisory area includes the higher terrain in central Douglas County, Josephine and Jackson counties and eastern Curry County. This includes Interstate 5 north of Medford and the Tiller Trail Highway 227 over the Umpqua Divide.

Winter driving conditions can be expected with slushy or snow-covered roads causing difficult travel.
