The driver was transported to the hospital following a freeway wreck on Thursday night.

A report from Oregon State Police said just before 7:40 p.m., the woman lost control of her sedan while avoiding a semi-truck on the wet roadway, as she was heading northbound on Interstate Five about a mile south of the Cox Road and Elk Creek exit. The woman had minor injuries.

Her vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
