A fugitive was jailed by Roseburg Police on Wednesday.

An RPD report said at 3:15 p.m. officers responded to the parking structure in the 500 block of Southeast Rose Street after a caller said a man was ripping flowers out of the flower beds and punching a light pole.

Officers made contact with the 35-year old suspect and dispatch confirmed the man had warrants for his arrest. He was taken into custody. Bail was set at $50,000.
