DRIVER TAKEN TO HOSPITAL, CITED, FOLLOWING FREEWAY WRECK

The driver was taken to the hospital and cited following a freeway wreck Friday afternoon.

An Oregon State Police report said at 4:45 p.m. the operator of a sedan was heading northbound on Interstate Five near the Harvard Avenue interchange when the vehicle exited the roadway and crashed. A trooper observed signs of intoxication. The Portland man was taken to CHI Mercy Medical Center due to a minor injury and for a blood draw. He was treated and released, according to a hospital spokesperson. 27-year Cristobal Cisneros was cited for DUII, reckless driving, and for not having a driver license or insurance.
