Precipitation in Roseburg is twenty-five percent below normal for the rain year.
Information from the National Weather Service in Medford said the Roseburg Regional Airport has received 20.57 inches of rain since the rain year began on October first. 27.44 inches of rain is the normal amount for that site.
Forecasters said all major locations monitored by the NWS in Medford are below normal. Klamath Falls is forty-seven percent below normal with only 5.01 inches of rain received. North Bend is over forty-one percent below normal, getting just over 41 inches of rain. Medford is twenty-one percent under the normal amount, having gotten just over 12 inches of rain, compared to slightly over 15 inches, which is the normal rainfall.
Mount Shasta City and Alturas, both in California, but in the NWS climate site area, are forty-seven percent and thirty-one percent below normal, respectively.
