The Umpqua Gem and Mineral Club will hold the 50th Rock Extravaganza Saturday and Sunday May 7th and 8th.

It will take place at the Douglas County Fairgrounds. The event will include gem and mineral displays, rock and jewelry dealers, demonstrators, door prizes, a silent auction and more. Kids games and other free kid’s activities will take place as well.

Admission is free. Hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday and 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday.
