A man was taken to the hospital after a motorcycle versus deer accident on Sunday.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 2:00 p.m. the rider was traveling west in the 11000 block of North Bank Road when a deer ran out in front of his motorcycle and he was unable to avoid hitting it. The man was transported to CHI Mercy Medical with minor injuries.

The bike was towed from the accident scene.
