Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged harassment incident on Friday.

Information from RPD said just after 10:00 p.m. officers responded to a residence in the 2500 block of Northeast Stephens Street for a domestic disturbance. The victim stated that he had been arguing all day with the suspect, when the man threw an unopened can of soda at the victim, hitting the back of her shoulder while she was sitting on the couch with their child.

The suspect was allegedly intoxicated and admitted they were arguing and that he was being aggressive, but didn’t remember throwing the can. He was charged with harassment and recklessly endangering another. Bail was set at $8,750.
