A woman was taken to the hospital following a single-vehicle wreck on Wednesday night.

A report from Oregon State Police said just after 10:00 p.m. troopers were dispatched to Interstate Five about a mile north of the Scotts Valley/Elkhead interchange after a northbound driver said that her vehicle had left the roadway. The driver said she hit some standing water. The sedan slid across a grassy shoulder and came to rest in an area of trees and shrubs.

The woman was taken by ambulance to CHI Mercy Medical Center. Minor damage to wire fencing on the right shoulder was reported.
