The YMCA of Douglas County will celebrate Healthy Kids Day on Saturday April 30th.

It is celebrated at nearly 1,600 Y’s across the country and aims to get more kids moving and learning, so they can keep up the habit all summer long.

The event will include lots of games and prizes, bounce house, active play and educational activities, Smokey the Bear, a REACH helicopter landing and more. It will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the large gymnasium. Enter through the Parkview Skating Rink entrance.
