Roseburg Public Library will have a Facebook Live streaming event about the history of Umpqua Dairy on Thursday May 5th at 6:30 p.m.

A City release said Umpqua Dairy distributes dairy products across the United States from the heart of Roseburg. Founded in 1931 by Ormond Feldkamp and Herb Sullivan with just $500, Umpqua Dairy has grown into one of the largest dairy companies in Oregon.

Marketing Specialist Tina Jochum will discuss the dairy products industry and the evolution of Umpqua Dairy over the years.
