A significant hailstorm led to a single-vehicle wreck on Interstate Five southbound about a mile and a half south of Cottage Grove on Saturday afternoon.

An Oregon State Police report said shortly after 3:10 p.m. a Roseburg woman encountered the storm which included standing water on the roadway. The driver lost control of her vehicle. It struck the center barrier and crossed both lanes, hitting the guard rail on the right shoulder. The driver was not hurt and arranged for her vehicle to be towed from the scene.
