WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY STARTS FRIDAY NIGHT ABOVE 2,500 FEET

A Winter Weather Advisory begins Friday night at 11:00 p.m. for areas above 2,500 feet in much of Douglas County and surrounding areas.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said two to six inches of snow is expected. The Advisory area also includes Jackson and Josephine counties and eastern Curry County.

Motorists should plan for difficult travel conditions. Roads may become slick and snow covered.

The Advisory is in place until 2:00 p.m. Saturday.
