Two people were hospitalized in a three-vehicle wreck on Thursday afternoon.
A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 1:45 p.m. a man was headed north through the intersection of Old Highway 99 South and the southbound onramp to Interstate Five. Another man was headed southbound when he turned onto the onramp, believing he had a green light. The vehicles collided, sending the first vehicle into a third vehicle.
A deputy could not get a statement from the driver and passenger in the first vehicle due to a language barrier. They were transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center with minor injuries. The pair were treated and released according to a hospital spokesperson.
All three vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
