FOUR TRANSPORTED TO SACRED HEART AFTER SINGLE-VEHICLE WRECK

Four people were transported to the hospital after a single vehicle wreck on Interstate Five northbound near Rice Hill, on Thursday afternoon.

An Oregon State Police report said at about 2:50 p.m. the driver of a sedan lost control of his vehicle, crashing into the concrete median barrier before leaving the roadway and going into the ditch and the grass, where the sedan overturned. The vehicle came to a final rest on its top.

The driver and his three passengers were taken the PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at Riverbend in Springfield. Their conditions are not currently available.
