VA PROVIDES FREE SUPPORT TO SURVIVORS OF MILITARY SEXUAL TRAUMA

April 14, 2022 10:50 a.m.

As part of its annual campaign during Sexual Assault Awareness Month, the Roseburg VA Health Care System is working to increase awareness about the impact of military sexual trauma and to inform veterans and former service members who experienced MST about the VA’s free, supportive treatments that can help them heal.

A release said the VA offers free counseling and treatment to veterans and former service members for mental and physical conditions related to MST. They may be eligible to receive these services even if they do not qualify for other VA care.

Through the end of April, there will be displays in Buildings 1 and 2 at the Roseburg VA campus with flyers, handouts and more information.

Contact the Roseburg VA at 440-1000 extension 40242 to speak with the MST Coordinator.
