ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOR ALLEGED BURGLARY TUESDAY NIGHT

Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged burglary on Tuesday night.

An RPD report said just before 10:30 p.m. police responded to a burglary alarm at Waldron’s Outdoor Sports in the 300 block of Northeast Garden Valley Boulevard. Officers located a broken window on the third floor of the store. A search of the building was conducted with the assistance of a police K9 and 40-year old Jason Keleman was found in a second-floor office.

The report said the man was hiding under a desk with a new loaded AR-15 on the ground next to him. Keleman was charged with second-degree counts of burglary and criminal mischief, first-degree theft, being a felon in possession of a firearm, possession of burglary tools and for a felony probation violation.

Keleman was jailed without bail.
