WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY THROUGH 11:00 A.M. WEDNESDAY UPDATED

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect through 11:00 a.m. Wednesday for areas in central Douglas County above 1,500 feet.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said additional snow accumulations of up to one inch are possible.

The Advisory area includes south central areas in the county along the Umpqua Divide including a portion of Highway 227 near Tiller and along Interstate Five in the Canyon Mountain Pass area.

Forecasters said travel could be very difficult. This could impact the morning commute.
