As an investigation into “…another threat of violence” in the Reedsport School District continues, the district has postponed its Wednesday evening board meeting.  Classes were not held Wednesday, due to concerns over a threat. Superintendent John Zwemke said a re-scheduled date for the meeting will be announced once there is additional information to base the decision on. Zwemke said this means school buildings and offices will remain closed through Wednesday evening.

Zwemke said a decision about whether to hold classes and allow employees to come to work on Thursday will not be made until late in the evening. He said this will allow some additional time for the Reedsport Police investigation to evolve.
