WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY THROUGH 11:00 A.M. WEDNESDAY ABOVE 1,500 FEET

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 11:00 a.m. Wednesday above 1,500 feet for parts of central Douglas County.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said additional snow accumulations of two to seven inches are expected.

The Advisory area includes south central areas of the county along the Umpqua Divide including a portion of Highway 227 near Tiller and Interstate Five in the area of Canyon Mountain Pass.

Forecasters said travel could be very difficult.
