MAN JAILED FOLLOWING ALLEGED DISTURBANCE

A Myrtle Creek man was jailed following an alleged disturbance by Roseburg Police early Tuesday.

An RPD report said just after 3:10 a.m. officers responded to a residence in the 2700 block of West Jay. The investigation revealed the disturbance was physical and that the 22-year old had pushed open a door that the victim had tried to lock, causing damage to the door frame and the door.

The man was charged with second-degree criminal mischief and for harassment. Bail was set at $6,000.
