Roseburg Police jailed a man following an alleged physical altercation on Friday.

An RPD report said at 10:00 a.m. officers responded to the incident in the 1100 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard. 22-year old Kai Valente allegedly used a large stick to hit the victim’s van and broke off the mirror. Valente then reportedly hit the victim multiple times, which caused physical injury.

Valente was charged with second-degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon, and second-degree counts of criminal mischief and disorderly conduct. Bail was set at $308,750.
