A Roseburg man was jailed for an alleged disorderly conduct incident on Wednesday.

A Roseburg Police report said at about 11:20 a.m. two motorists were each traveling south in the 2000 block of Northeast Stephens when one man became upset because he believed the other driver had cut him off. The first man followed the second to a red light at the corner of Stephens and Northeast Garden Valley Boulevard where he got out and spit on the driver side window.

The report said the suspect then followed the second driver to a business in the 1600 block of Northeast O’Dell. The suspect allegedly got out of his vehicle, stood in the road and tried to get the victim to fight with him. Several employees of the business saw the suspect’s behavior and found it very alarming.

The 32-year old was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct and third-degree criminal mischief. Bail was set at $8,750.
