A Winston man was jailed, charged with carrying concealed weapons, by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday.

A DCSO report said at about 12:30 a.m. a deputy made contact with a vehicle in the 500 block of Grange Road. As soon as he pulled up to it, one of the drivers reportedly slumped down in the front seat. The deputy identified the pair and learned that the 28-year old had a warrant for his arrest.

The deputy allegedly found the suspect in possession of a small amount of heroin and brass knuckles. He also reportedly had a handgun in a holster as well. Bail was set at $7,500.
