Crews with the Roseburg Fire Department dealt with a small fire at a commercial structure on Tuesday.

Fire Marshal Brian Jewell said shortly after 11:00 a.m. firefighters responded to the fire in the 600 block of West Luellen Drive. Jewell said firefighters arrived on the scene to find a garbage can on fire that was quickly spreading to the nearby building. Crews quickly extinguished the fire and stopped the forward spread to the structure. That building houses the Hair Affair.

Jewell said a fire investigator was on scene and determined that the fire was accidental, due to discarded material. Damage was contained to the garbage can and the exterior siding of the structure.
