MUCH NEEDED RAIN IN UMPQUA VALLEY MONDAY

Some much-needed rain came to the Umpqua Valley on Monday.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that the Roseburg Regional Airport received .92 inches of rain during the storm. That was between 10:00 p.m. Sunday and 10:00 p.m. Monday.

The region should stay dry for much of the week, with another storm bringing rain, with snow possible mainly at higher elevations, starting on Saturday.
