The Douglas Timber Operators will be awarding three $2,500 scholarships this year.

A release said applicants must be residents of Douglas, Coos or Lane counties and have the intention to major in a natural-resources related field. Eligible institutions include any public or private accredited post-secondary institution in Oregon, or out-of-state.
