A woman was jailed regarding an alleged vehicle theft on Friday.
A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at about 12:50 p.m. a victim reported that 34-year old Amber Gaylord had stolen her vehicle from the 100 block of Major Drive in Glendale. The victim said that she and the suspect had gone to a friend’s home and when the victim woke up, she realized that Gaylord had taken her vehicle.
A short time later the victim reported that she had spotted the car at a business in Glendale, and said the suspect had run from her vehicle. A deputy located Gaylord and placed her under arrest. Charges included unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and possession of a stolen vehicle. Bail for Gaylord was set at $100,000.
