Deputies with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office jailed a man for an alleged burglary on Friday.

A DCSO report said Thursday night at about 10:30 p.m. a victim reported that Robert Kemp had illegally entered his house in the 500 block of Clearview Drive near Wilbur. The 28-year old transient allegedly stole a beer and urinated on the floor. The victim found Kemp and ran him off.

Kemp was located on Friday morning and taken into custody. He was charged with first degree burglary, second-degree criminal mischief, third-degree theft and for a probation violation. He was detained without bail.
