Umpqua Watersheds has an opportunity for K-12 educators and homeschooling parents taking place next month.
A release said the group is collaborating with several local organizations and experts in various fields to offer the second annual “Learning in the Umpqua Watershed: K-12 Students through Nature Connections and STEAM Activities”. It will take place April 13th through the 15th.
Those attending will engage in a number of presentations and interactive sessions on nature journaling, field surveys, indigenous history and culture, local flora, STEAM, post-fire recovery and more.
