A Grants Pass man was jailed for warrants and cited for heroin, by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday.

A DCSO report said at about 4:30 p.m. a deputy advised he had a warrant for the suspect, who was believed to be in the 200 block of Glenvilla Lane in Glendale. Two deputies responded to the residence and were told that the suspect was not there. Ultimately it was found that the suspect was there, but was hiding in a back bedroom.

The 32-year old suspect was eventually talked out of the house. He was found to have two warrants and was allegedly in possession of a violation level of heroin.

The man was detained without bail.
