SHERIFF’S OFFICE JAILS MAN FOR ALLEGED BURGLARY/HARASSMENT

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office jailed a man for alleged burglary and harassment on Monday.

A DCSO report said just before 5:00 p.m. a victim said the suspect forced his way into the victim’s trailer, on Pecan Lane near Green. The victim alleged that the man head-butted him and spit on him. The report said the suspect appeared to be under the influence of drugs and said he was just taking a shower and escaping those who had “put a hit out on him”.

34-year old transient William Neria was charged with first-degree burglary and for harassment. Bail for Neria was set at $252,500.
