Roseburg Police issued an early morning citation for second-degree criminal trespass on Sunday.

An RPD report said at 2:20 a.m. the 39-year old was contacted behind barbed wire on private property in the 900 block of West Military Avenue. The report said there were multiple “No Trespassing” signs in the area. The suspect was ultimately able to get back over the barbed wire fence.

The property owner opened the gate and the man was taken into custody. He was released after the citation was issued.
