A Tenmile man was jailed on a drug charge, and for warrants, on Friday night.
A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said at about 7:20 p.m. 46-year old Rodney Miller was allegedly seen driving on Reston Road in Tenmile. Deputies were in the area and knew the man was wanted. A stop was conducted and the suspect’s vehicle was surrounded as he has a history of eluding.
K9 Eros was deployed and Miller complied with deputies’ commands when he saw the dog. During a search he said he was in possession of heroin. It was later weighed at 2 grams.
Miller was charged with unlawful possession of heroin, and for two warrants. He was detained without bail.
