COVID-19 has claimed 11 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 6,971, as of Friday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 289 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 701,198.

OHA said the total number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 213, which is two fewer than on Thursday. There are 35 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is three more than on Thursday.

The new cases include:

*76 in Multnomah County

*29 in Deschutes County

*27 in Washington County

*22 in Clackamas County
