COVID-19 CLAIMS 27 MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 6,960, AS OF THURSDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 27 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 6,960, as of Thursday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 331 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 700,960.

OHA said the total number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 in Oregon is 215, which is 27 fewer than on Wednesday. There are 32 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 4 fewer than on Wednesday.

The new cases include:

*65 in Multnomah County

*37 in Marion County

*35 in Washington County

*32 in Lane County
