COVID-19 CLAIMS 35 MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 6,933, AS OF WEDNESDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 35 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 6,933, as of Wednesday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 355 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 700,660.

OHA said the total number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 in Oregon is 242, which is 18 more than on Tuesday. There are 36 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 2 more than on Tuesday.

New cases include:

*74 in Multnomah County

*43 in Washington County

*33 in Marion County

*29 in Lane County
