Roseburg Police cited a woman for allegedly littering near a waterway on Monday.

An RPD report said an officer contacted the 81-year old in the duck pond parking lot in the 1000 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard. The suspect had a truckload worth of trash on the ground next to her vehicle last week and was cited accordingly. On Monday, it appeared that she had at least six shopping carts full of garbage on the ground in the trees behind Fred Meyer.

The report said it appeared that the woman had made an attempt to clean up around her vehicle, and had the cab and the bed completely filled. The suspect claimed she is a volunteer with the Parks Department, but it appears she is actually a trash hoarder.

She was cited again because the debris was about 90 feet from the edge of the duck pond.
