A driver was injured after a two-vehicle wreck on Monday.

A Roseburg Police report said at 9:00 p.m. two vehicles were traveling in the opposite direction on Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard at the intersection with Northwest Stewart Parkway. The first driver was allegedly looking at her cell phone and drifted into the oncoming lane, causing the vehicles to collide head on.

The driver whose vehicle was hit complained of chest pain and was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center to be evaluated. She was treated and released according to a hospital spokesperson.

The driver that caused the accident was cited for operating a motor vehicle while using a communication device and for failure to install an interlock device. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
